  OMG I'm writing this as I stand in line for heart burn medicine...17 minutes and three people in front of me. This pharmacy is the slowest in town.

  Moscow Safeway - five star
  This Safeway has a fantastic selection; breads, vegetables, fruit, soups, wine, and beer. They have the best plant and flower selection in town as well. The employees at Moscow Safeway or really kind and helpful. If you live on this side of town and don't like driving very far then this is definitely the place to go. As I said the employees are kind and will seek you out if you're by yourself looking confused. They also engage in at the check out and treat you like you're a human being. Bottom line is the employees look like they enjoy working there - you can often see them smiling. There is a really nice guy at the pharmacy - I don't know who he is, but he's awesome. Five stars for the employees at Moscow Safeway.

  Unfortunately the store is the only place on the East side of Moscow to buy food. Very expensive compared to WINCO. Occasionally they have a product on sale for a good price. Since 2017, with new ownership, the pharmacy has a much slower response time to people's needs. The pharmacy folks aren't nearly as friendly as the older Safeway workers(Wayne, Pam, and Thea)and they seem to not really care to work with people in special circumstances. Not the home town friendly people they used to be prior to 2017. The flower section is nice and they have a good selection of wines.
